Meet our Leaders
Ingolv T. Urnes Founder & Chairman
About
There are two aspects of psHEALTH of which I am incredibly proud; our innovative software solutions and our people. Through our powerful, customised software solutions we are working hard to make healthcare better and more efficient. Our position as a leader in this field is the result of a dedicated and creative team that never give up.
I’m a Norwegian who studied in Switzerland and then went on to work at Goldman Sachs in London, Frankfurt and New York. However, after a decade in finance I wanted to do something more meaningful. I grew up in a family of doctors where the challenges of healthcare and healthcare provision were discussed at every opportunity. The healthcare sector therefore had a natural appeal for me and in 2002 I started my first health tech business, Active Health Partners. My experience here helped me refine the two principles on which I went on to found psHEALTH in 2008; we want to be known for our innovative software solutions and for cultivating an exciting environment in which our people can grow and learn.
Caris Marsh CEO
About
I’m Caris and I am CEO for ART. I joined psHEALTH for the opportunity to work in a business delivering solutions that truly make a difference in healthcare delivery…but I’ll stay for our fantastic team that are passionate, day-in-day-out, about making that a reality.
I graduated from Oxford University before starting my career in Management Consultancy at Ernst & Young (EY) working across Healthcare, Life Sciences and a number of other industries helping companies to sell to, serve and manage their customers better. From there I moved into Life Sciences; taking on a Global Marketing role in GlaxoSmithKline before finding my home at psHEALTH. I love food (cooking it and eating it), skiing, long walks in remote new places and, as an ex-rower, occasionally reminding myself what I am missing with a little bit of rowing on the Thames.

Sam MadeleyCTO
About
I’m Sam and I’m the CTO for ART. I joined psHealth in 2020 for the opportunity to work with an innovative team and the chance to solve challenging problems using the skills I gained as a technology leader. I have spent many years building technology solutions as a developer, technical architect and technology leader.
The majority of my career has been spent in the media industry working with digital music, cinema and video services, from the major music labels and film studios to directing-to-consumer platforms. Career success to me is working with great people solving challenging problems.
At psHealth I have that opportunity in abundance. In my team I look to inspire confidence, creativity, collaboration and excellence. I live in the countryside and love to make the most of the walks and country pubs.
I’m a cricket fanatic, although my playing days are behind me, and also play guitar rather badly!

Rob Snellgrove Engineering Lead
About
I grew up in North Wales, and studied Engineering Science at Oxford University. The course gave me an excellent overview of a range of fields within engineering, with a mixture of theoretical and practical work. After graduating, I went to China for several months, where I learned some Chinese and then went travelling through several provinces in the west of the country. Once I was back in the UK, I spent two years working for a venture capital fund that invests in technology start-ups. I joined psHEALTH because I wanted an opportunity to develop my technical and engineering skills, and to work on interesting problems in a really important sector.
Grant Gwyther Partnership Manager, ART
About
With a foundation in programming, playing semi-professional rugby & a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in marketing management – I felt well suited for a career in software sales. Prior to settling in the UK I also spent 2 years working on super yachts & sailing around Europe.
Coming from South Africa I really respect a public healthcare system that works as well as the NHS, it feels great knowing the work we are doing here at psHEALTH is to improve patient care nationally and the NHS as a whole. When I’m not in the office you’ll find me at a live music event or somewhere in the great outdoors!
Mela Miles Implementation Lead
About
Hi I’m Mela and I’m Head of Implementation at psHealth.
I always wanted to work in a company where innovation was being used to make a real difference in Healthcare and I feel so proud to be implementing ART as a solution as it means that we are able take out some of the waste in the logistics of Healthcare, which allows our customers to focus more on areas of highest importance such as engaging with patients and providing better Healthcare.
I grew up in a family of doctors so working in Healthcare was a natural fit for me as I understood from an early age the importance of having a great health system and it inspired me to try to tackle some of the challenges in this sector. I am a certified Agile Project Consultant and in 2013 I set up my own limited company which delivered a number of large-scale automation projects to companies such as Bupa.
I have travelled extensively around the world and I love to play golf – and combine the two. My favourite being when we played golf in the Himalayas. It was a particularly challenging course as there was cattle roaming freely across the fairway..!
When I’m not busy running around after my toddler, I like to play piano, cook using my Thermomix and do some yoga!
Charles Bowesman Analyst/Developer
About
I graduated last year from UCL with a Masters in Astrophysics. Though exciting, after four years of working out of an observatory I was looking forward to a change in scenery. My family all work in healthcare and I could see that it was a very rewarding field to work in so became motivated to do the same. I was then attracted to psHEALTH when I saw not only a worthwhile cause, but also a role that would be both challenging and exciting.
At home I spend a lot of time cooking in the kitchen but mostly enjoy baking, sadly it doesn’t often make it in to the office before my flatmates eat it. I enjoy travelling for festivals and for food but there’s no place quite like London.

I was attracted to psHEALTH as I was interested in working in an evolving and meaningful field with a real scope for growth. psHEALTH provides a challenging and stimulating environment to work in with friendly colleagues. Outside of the office, I enjoy running, cooking and boxing.
Siân Gregory Customer Success Analyst
About
Hi I’m Siân, a Customer Success Analyst at ART where I work with the team to solve customers’ problems and dig into data to look at where we can improve. Before joining psHEALTH I spent a month in Tokyo doing an internship at a Think Tank, following finishing my degree in Maths at Oxford University. Although the mathematical models I studied haven’t come in handy yet, at psHEALTH I do enjoy combining the problem-solving aspect of Maths with the real-world application of software in such an important sector as Healthcare. In my spare time I enjoy going to gigs, playing the guitar and trying my best to crochet a pair of socks.
Raphael Piccolin Software Engineer
About
I moved to he UK from Shanghai to pursue an undergraduate course in Physics at UCL, followed by a Masters in Scientific Computing. I completed my studies by producing a thesis on computer vision in a surgical context.
Immediately after my studies I wanted to gain experience as a software developer. What attracted me to psHEALTH was the opportunity to work in a small company with a lot of potential for growth that is doing meaningful work, while also being able to improve my programming and teamwork skills.
In my spare time, I like to try new things in the kitchen, go to restaurants around London, travel to the cheapest destinations I can find, and watch/play football.
Max Gates Product Owner
About
Hi, I’m Max. I’ve worked in digital innovation since before the web, from educational CD Roms and early mobile phone video to in-flight entertainment systems and contemporary art trading.
I was attracted to working for psHealth to make a real improvement to people’s lives, simply making healthcare more accessible.
My career has taken my around the world, living in six countries so far, but things have slowed down a lot since I came late to parenthood. With two young children, I’ve got limited free time but I enjoy camping, play tennis, cycle and try to make time for yoga whilst appreciating the obscure musical discoveries my circle of friends dig up.
Ryan Megarity Automation Engineer
About
I'm Ryan, I am an Automation Engineer for ART.
I joined psHEALTH fresh from completing a degree in Maths at the University of Bath, the role presented itself as the perfect chance to feel constantly challenged and be innovative in a space of significant value.
Working as part of a small technical team has allowed me to gain a holistic perspective of the benefits our product can bring, and this makes the work feel rewarding every day.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending my time riding my bike, playing football, or doing something music related – be that playing the piano or going to a gig.
