A Norwegian who studied in Switzerland and then went on to work at Goldman Sachs in London, Frankfurt and New York.  However, after a decade in finance he wanted to do something more meaningful.  He grew up in a family of doctors where the challenges of healthcare and healthcare provision were discussed at every opportunity.  The healthcare sector therefore had a natural appeal and in 2002 he started his first health tech business, Active Health Partners.  His experience here helped refine the two principles on which he went on to found psHEALTH in 2008; we want to be known for our innovative software solutions and for cultivating an exciting environment in which our people can grow and learn.

Started her career in Management Consultancy at Ernst & Young (EY) working across Healthcare, Life Sciences and a number of other industries helping companies to sell to, serve and manage their customers better. From there she moved into Life Sciences; taking on a Global Marketing role in GlaxoSmithKline before finding her home at psHEALTH.

James founded Adastra Software in 1994 with partner Lynn Woods, initially to provide call management & clinical solutions to Out of Hours and other urgent care services. He led application design and build for their products and grew the business to ~£12m turnover and ~140 staff in 2008. (In March 2011, Adastra Software was renamed to Advanced Health & Care)
